VINTAGE SEAL EMBOSSER INSERT - CITY OF HOUSTON TX DEMOCRATIC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Description

This vintage seal embosser insert was purchased at a local estate sale at which a family member indicated that the item likely dates to the very early 1900s; however, this has not been confirmed.  This insert
(used to emboss an official seal on documents as with a notary public seal) is from the Democratic Executive Committee of the City of Houston (supposedly Texas).  The composition is brass, and this item measures approximately 41 mm (1-5/8") in diameter and 6 mm (7/32") in thickness.
This item is in very good condition, with no apparent actual wear, with toning, soiling, and signs of handling, and it is fairly bright.
